Report: Dallas Cowboys Star WR Could Land With The Patriots

The New England Patriots had a lot of problems with their offense in 2019. Head coach Bill Belichick will have to fix this problem in order to keep quarterback Tom Brady on the roster. Building a stronger offense is a priority now. Brady needs a better offensive line to help the team win games. He can’t win a game all by himself. It looks like the head coach is ready to make a few changes. Is there any chance for a Dallas Cowboys star wideout to sign a contract with the Patriots?

TB12 will become a free agent for the first time in his professional career. His team struggled on offense in 2019, and the offense lacked strong weapons. Brady may be interested in signing a contract with teams packed with great offense. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tennessee Titans have better playmakers on the offensive side of the ball. These teams are considered potential landing spots for the GOAT.

A deal with the Dallas Cowboys

The Patriots are reportedly looking into potential trades for offensive help. They will probably try to pull out some big moves in free agency. Is Amari Cooper one of their targets? The Cowboys wide receiver may be a potential target for the team.

“There’s a chance that Amari Cooper could be the highest-paid receiver in football next year…and playing for the Patriots,” Bleacher Report’s Mike Freeman wrote. “Indeed, teams around the league increasingly believe that the Cowboys’ No. 1 target will be playing elsewhere next year.”

Former NFL wideout Nate Burleson claims that the Patriots may get Cooper.

The 25-year-old has already told fans that he wants to stay in Dallas. The former Oakland Raiders wide receiver was traded to the Cowboys in the 2018 season.

It looks like the situation depends on the Cowboys and their interest in Cooper. The team will have to pay Dak Prescott and Byron Jones will become a free agent. If the team dismisses the idea of giving Cooper what he wants, maybe he will sign with another team in free agency. Is he making a way to Foxboro? Things look really tense at this point of the offseason.
