Tom Brady, James White Shares Heartfelt Exchange As Quarterback Leaves New England

Tom Brady is the only quarterback James White has played with. For him, Brady is the ultimate quarterback. Well, White will have to get used to a new quarterback. TB12 decided to leave the New England Patriots this offseason. Brady is leaving his second home for the first time in his professional career. This is a big change for many players on the Patriots roster. White would love to have Brady back in New England.

Brady on Tuesday announced his decision to leave the team after 20 seasons with the organization. His next move has yet to be made official. However, everything points to the fact that Brady will sign a contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this free agency.

Tom Brady earned the respect of James White and the New England Patriots

White took to his Instagram account right after Brady officialized his decision.  He shouted out to his teammate of six seasons. Brady popped in the comments section and corrected White’s sentiments.

“Showed us all how to consistently be great,” White wrote.

What did Brady do? He added a sweet note to these sentiments.

“Nah…you showed me and reminded me and inspired me every day! You think you learned from me, but i was always learning from you @sweetfeet ,” he replied.

What will Bill Belichick do to replace his star quarterback? Rob Gronkowski left a huge void behind, but it was impossible for the team to find a replacement. Imagine the size of the void Brady leaves behind. It’s hard to imagine a season in Foxboro without TB12. He has been a Patriot since forever. The Patriots nation has hard time accepting the change. Everyone thought that Brady would finish the career in New England. It looks like he changed his mind.

Did he want to go somewhere else? Maybe he wanted a higher salary? We’ll have to wait for Brady’s official statement on the reasons he had to leave the Pats.

He will probably answer these questions and many more. The Patriots nation needs to hear that. Why did he leave the team? Well, maybe Brady will keep that for himself. It’s his career. It’s his life after all.
