Vannesa Bryant Remembers Gianna On 14th Birthday… Has A Demand For Fans

Gianna Bryant was supposed to celebrate her 14^th birthday today. Her mother, Vanessa, took to Instagram to share a pic of the girl. Her message brought us tears, and this is the most emotional thing we’ve read. Vanessa will always miss her little girl and husband. She lost them both in a tragic helicopter crash on Jan. 26. Vanessa’s message made us think of the tragedy that killed everyone on board. Nine people died on that dark day, and the Bryant family is still trying to find a way to cope with the terrible loss.

An emotional message

The grieving mom wrote all the things she would’ve said if Gigi was still alive. She misses every bit of her, and it’s impossible to describe the horror a mother goes through when one of her kids dies. It’s like she lost one of her limbs forever. Part of her heart will always hurt. Losing Gigi was a nightmare, and Vanessa has to live with this. We are sending our thoughts and prayers.

“Happy 14th Birthday to my sweet baby girl, Gianna,” Vanessa wrote on Instagram. “Mommy loves you more than I can ever show you. You are part of MY SOUL forever. I miss you so much everyday. I wish I could wake up and have you here with me. Miss your smile, your hugs and your giggles. I miss EVERYTHING about YOU, Gigi. I LOVE YOU so much.”

In another post, Vanessa delivered a message for fans. She told them to wear red to honor the lovely girl. She also added details of the ways fans can benefit the family foundation.

“Gianna loved to wear a red bow in all of her school pictures. Red means love and life. Gianna was honored a tribute before her birthday

The girl was a talented basketball player. She was competitive and liked to win just like her dad. Gigi and Kobe shared the same love for the game. Kobe’s daughter dreamed of playing in the WNBA and she wanted to share the court with her Mamba Academy teammates, Alyssa Altobelli and Payton Chester.

The girls were announced as the first three honorary picks of the 2020 WNBA Draft. This was an emotional tribute.

Vanessa knows that this would have been a dream come true for her daughter. Gigi was practicing a lot and she worked on her skills. She dreamed of being one of the greatest athletes of all-time. She wanted to be just like her dad.
