Julian Edelman is Poised to Prove All Haters Wrong in 2020

New England Patriots veteran wideout Julian Edelamn is ready to enter the upcoming 2020 season. That’s not all. He is ready to prove doubters wrong. The 2018 Super Bowl MVP is not a byproduct of Tom Brady. Edelman has all the talent and experience he needs to win games and take his team to the big game.

For the first time in two decades, the Patriots will enter a season with many new faces. Some key contributors left the team in free agency. The coronavirus pandemic made things worse. Eight key players decided to opt out of the 2020 NFL season. this includes safety Patrick Chung, offensive lineman Marcus Cannon and linebacker Dont’a Hightower.

Patriots veterans don’t mind any of this. Edelman is one of the few veterans remaining. He is expected to lead the team in the locker room. Although some of his teammates left him, Edelman is ready to move on without them. Brady and Rob Gronkowski will play with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Edelman did his best to keep Brady on the roster. It didn’t work as Brady has different plans. The New England Patriots had different plans too. The team didn’t select a quarterback, but they did sign Cam Newton.

Julian Edelman hits 2020 with confidence

Newton and Edelman have already worked out. Patriots players will have their first padded training camp practice on Monday. It’s a new beginning for Edelman and his teammates. Head coach Bill Belichick has made a few changes to the roster and he has five more spots to fill.

Edelman has so much to prove in 2020. He will have another big season and yes, he will also get a chance to silence haters. Some of them have written him off as an elite wideout. Well, Edelman is about to change that.

The main task is to connect with his new quarterback. It may be Newton. Second-year quarterback Jarrett Smith may get the job, too. Edelman didn’t need a quarterback to work out this summer. His experience will help him connect with the new signal caller for the Patriots.
