Kyle Kuzma Delivers Strong Message To Lakers Fans After Clinching No. 1 Seed

Kyle Kuzma is ready to go for the Los Angeles Lakers. It has not been the easiest last few years for the boys in purple. They are trying to break a 6 year streak of losing seasons, which is not a good look. Most people would agree that the Lakers are the best franchise in the NBA.

LeBron James and the rest of the roster helped take the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference last night, after a 116-108 win over the Utah Jazz. This is the first time in quite a few years where the Lakers are looking like one of the favorites going into the 2020 season.

Fans remember the bad seasons. It was looking pretty grim at some point. But Kyle Kuzma did reach out on Twitter and give the fans a shout out.

“Real laker fans remember the losing seasons,” he tweeted. “Here ya go #1.”

The Lakers have been looking for a way to get back on top. And LeBron James definitely helped with this.

He explained why he chose the Lakers before:

“You look at the Lakers,” he said. “Being able to play for a historic franchise with so much history, and now being able to partner with Magic Johnson, someone I kinda like looked up to when I was younger and wanted to make no look passes like Magic, wanted to get on the break and be Showtime like Magic and then for it to all come to fruition at this point…

“I think timing is everything. For me to be in this position now, the excitement that I have to be a Laker, I’m happy to be apart of it because I believe the Lakers is a historical franchise, we all know that, but it’s a championship franchise and that’s what we’re trying to get back to. I’m happy to be a part of the culture and be a part of us getting back to that point.”

This seems like a good plan and we hope that they have what it takes to make it to the Finals. What do you think about this year’s Lakers team?
