LeBron Delivered Powerful Message To Kyle Kuzma After Monday’s Game

Following Monday evening’s game against the Denver Nuggets, LeBron delivered powerful message to Kyle Kuzma.

The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Nuggets, 124-121. The player responsible for the game-winning 3-pointer was none other than Kuzma himself. The Lakers improved to 52-18 with the win, while Denver dropped to 46-25.

Following the win, LeBron James made it clear how important Kuzma is to the Lakers’ NBA Finals goal. According to him, Kuzma needs to be the team’s third-best player if they’re going after the title.

LeBron Sends Powerful Message To Kuzma About The Championship

“In order for us to win a championship, he has to be our third best player,” James said of Kuzma.

Los Angeles already have an advantage because of James and Anthony Davis, but there’s no clear third option. And the King sees it in Kuzma.

“We cannot win a championship if Kuz doesn’t play well,” James added.

Kuzma had 25 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists in the win over the Nuggets on Monday night. If he continues with that performance, it’s tough to see anyone beating the Lakers.

“You look at the Lakers,” Kuzma said about why he chose to play for Los Angeles. “Being able to play for a historic franchise with so much history, and now being able to partner with Magic Johnson, someone I kinda like looked up to when I was younger and wanted to make no look passes like Magic, wanted to get on the break and be Showtime like Magic and then for it to all come to fruition at this point…

“I think timing is everything. For me to be in this position now, the excitement that I have to be a Laker, I’m happy to be apart of it because I believe the Lakers is a historical franchise, we all know that, but it’s a championship franchise and that’s what we’re trying to get back to. I’m happy to be a part of the culture and be a part of us getting back to that point.”

Los Angeles will play their final game in the regular season on Thursday against the Kings.
