Boseman is well known for his role in the ‘Black Panther’ movie. He past away on Friday due to Stage IV colon cancer. He was only 43 years old. Boseman was surrounded by family and friends when he died in his own home in Los Angeles.

This is a very sad story. But with everything going on in the world today, it still is not a surprise that this caused a much bigger ripple than usual. LeBron was quick to give his thoughts. He has been outspoken on what has gone on in the United States recently. Here is the photo he put on Instagram.

Chadwick found out he had cancer almost 4 years ago. This was confirmed by his family and friends. However, he chose not to make his diagnosis public. The Black Panther film released in 2018, nearly 2 years after his diagnosis.

Here is what the family statement read:

LeBron James Releases Heartbreaking Statement Following Death of ‘Black Panther’ Star Chadwick Boseman

“It is with immeasurable grief that we confirm the passing of Chadwick Boseman. Chadwick was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016, and battled with it these last 4 years as it progressed to stage IV.

A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much. From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and several more, all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy.

It was the honor of his career to bring King T’Challa to life in Black Panther. He died in his home, with his wife and family by his side. The family thanks you for your love and prayers, and asks that you continue to respect their privacy during this difficult time.”

This is a sad loss. He will be missed by those who enjoyed his films and movies. We wish nothing but the best for his family and friends.
