McCourty Twins React To NBA Players Boycotting Playoff Game

The McCourty twins had quite the reaction to the NBA boycott. There were a lot of people around the entire sporting world that were shocked and saddened by the news of Jacob Blake, a Black man. He was shot 7 times while walking to his car over the weekend in Wisconsin.

Many of them have tried to take a stance against this as we saw from the NBA last night. Players from around the league declined to play in their respective games.

The Detroit Lions on Tuesday also made the decision to cancel their training camp in response to the shooting. When the NBA players decided to boycott their games, NFL players from around the league have come out and shown their support.

Take a look at the Detroit Lions:

The McCourty twins also have an interesting reaction.

It seems like most people in the sports are in support of the boycott, or strike as some have pointed out.

As you can see, most are in support of the players who decided to boycott the games last night.

LeBron James has also been outspoken on the shootings. He previously talked about this back in July.

“A lot of people kind of use this analogy, talking about Black Lives Matter as a movement. It’s not a movement,” James said. “When you’re Black, it’s not a movement. It’s a lifestyle. We sit here and say it’s a movement, and, OK, how long is this movement going to last? ‘Don’t stop the movement.’ No, this is a walk of life. When you wake up and you’re Black, that is what it is. It shouldn’t be a movement. It

be a lifestyle. This is who we are. …

“I don’t like the word ‘movement’ because, unfortunately, in America and in society, there ain’t been no damn movement for us. There ain’t been no movement.”

This is big and it could be the end of the NBA season. Most of the teams did not want to sit out for the rest of the year. But the Clippers and the Lakers both were in support of walking out.
