Report: Patriots Re-Sign Explosive Rookie RB to Roster

The New England Patriots have just signed a huge and impressive rookie RB to help out on the offense. We all know that the Patriots struggled on offense last season. They failed to do much of anything at all and this is one of the reasons they are making so many moves this off season. Tom Brady took his talents to Tampa Bay this off season as well, which was an even bigger shock.

But now, they are a looking to fill quite a few holes on the offensive side of the ball. One of these holes is apparently at the running back position. They are trying to get younger and this new move is definitely going to help out with that. Let us hope that he can help them be much more explosive than they were last season.

J.J. Taylor. is an undrafted rookie running back. He has officially been brought up to the team’s 53-man roster on Monday. He came with fellow rookie Cassh Maluia. They made this decision after the team put running back Damien Harris and defensive tackle Beau Allen on the injured list.

He did have some problems with his ball security. But Taylor did eventually prove what made him a stud with the Arizona Wildcats in college. He is a pretty small guy at only 5’5″. But Taylor has great strength and overall athleticism. He should be a great addition to the team and will likely be trying to prove himself.

Rookies have been good for the Patriots in the past. However, last year was a bit of a disappointing season for rookies. Hopefully this year will be much better.

Still, the biggest question is at quarterback. Cam Newton has officially been named the starter. But we do not know which Newton will show up. Will it be the former MVP or the washed up quarterback of late?

It will be very interesting to see this Patriots team this year. Fans are definitely expecting a much better season and hopefully they can bring it. What do you think about this signing? Will it work out for the Patriots?
