LeBron James Responds To Draymond Green’s White House Message

LeBron James has responded to Draymond Green’s White House message. There was a lot of politics surrounding the sports world this year. With the COVID situation, it was hard to keep the two separated much at all. But not only that, but we have also seen massive social justice movements born in the professional sports world as well.

The Lakers are coming off of a huge victory in the NBA Finals. They are officially NBA champions and it was awesome to see. They were happy to leave the NBA bubble, however. Staying in one place for nearly 4 months would be hard for anyone. LeBron talked about this.

“I am here for one reason and one reason only, and that’s to compete for a championship,” James said. “And that was my mindset once I entered the bubble, once I entered the quarantine process the first two days. And then right from my first practice my mindset was to, if I’m going to be here, make the most of it and see what you can do and lock in on what the main thing is. And the main thing was for us to finish the season and compete for a championship.

“So that’s just been my mindset throughout these — I don’t even know how many days it is, whatever how many days it is, it feels like five years so it really doesn’t matter. I’ve been as locked in as I’ve ever been in my career.”

LeBron James Responds To Draymond Green’s White House Message

It has been a crazy 4 years for sports going to the White House. Some teams go, some choose not to. And some refuse to do anything altogether. Well, LeBron and the Lakers can officially go to the White House again. At least according to Draymond Green they can.

The Lakers are still waiting to celebrate their title win this season. It has been harder than in most years given the COVID situation. But they have been promised a time that they can do this eventually.

What do you think about this and do you think the Lakers should go to the WH?
