Patriots List 17 Players On Longest Injury Report Of Season

The New England Patriots have released the latest injury report. Fans are worried, and the situation doesn’t look good for the team. The team is plagued with injuries and about 30% of the Patriots roster deals with injuries at the moment. New England is getting ready for the upcoming game against the New York Jets, and 17 players ended up on the Patriots injury report. Two of them deal with multiple injuries.

Five of these players didn’t join their teammates Thursday. cornerback Stephon Gilmore, wide receiver N’Keal Harry, defensive tackles Lawrence Guy and Carl Davis and running back J.J. Taylor missed the latest practice. Gilmore, Harry, and Davis didn’t play last Sunday, and Game left the field due to a shoulder injury.

Patriots to enter Week 9 with a long injury report

Linebacker Ja’Whaun Bentley left the game due to a groin injury and he was a limited participant Thursday. The Patriots also included both Patriots tight ends Dalton Keene and Ryan Izzo on the list.

Izzo deals with an elbow injury and he is a new addition to the injury report. Keene has a knee issue and he was a late scratch in Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills. Tight end Devin Asiasi was placed on injured reserve Tuesday. In other words, New England doesn’t have a tight end on the practice unit.

It’s a tough situation for the team, but head coach Bill Belichick has a plan. He always has. New England struggled in the past few games. Things can change overnight, and some NFL analysts predict a good game for veteran quarterback Cam Newton. This may be his best game.
