Anthony Davis Reveals Plans For LeBron James’ 36th Birthday Amid COVID-19 Pandemic

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James will turn 36 on Wednesday, and pretty much everyone is excited about his birthday. Lakers players talked about his birthday and they even have great plans for the big day. It’s the king’s birthday after all.

Following Monday’s loss to the Portland Trail Blazers, AD talked about their plans regarding LeBron’s birthday. Let’s not forget that we are in the middle of a pandemic.

“There’s not much we really can do because of all the rules and restrictions. We’ve seen guys violate those restrictions and have to sit out. We definitely don’t want to violate any rules…”

LeBron and his Lakers teammates won’t throw a big birthday party

The NBA has strong healthy and safety protocols for the coronavirus pandemic. Lakers players can’t really do much about LeBron’s birthday. But, the team will definitely honor LeBron.

LeBron proved that he is playing elite basketball. He is in his 18th NBA season, and many would agree that he is in his primetime. The four-time NBA MVP finished the night with season-high 29 points, nine rebounds, and six assists while making 55% of his shots from the field.

On his birthday last year, LeBron took part of many festivities to celebrate his day. He turned 35 and had a lot of great time in LA. King James celebrated with his teammates and family.

Well, the coronavirus pandemic is still here and basketball players have to follow strict protocols. Let’s just say that Lakers players won’t be able to throw a big party. LeBron doesn’t mind any of that. He is focused on the game and his big wins.

The franchise will probably celebrate behind closed doors. Breaking the league’s guidelines for coronavirus is not really an ideal scenario. It’s also important to note that Lakers players have a game on Wednesday. They are playing against the San Antonio Spurs. Partying doesn’t really fit this scenario.

LA lost two games this season but these losses are a big motivation for the team. They added a group of talented players and LeBron will be leading the way for his teammates. AD is here to give him a hand in the process.
