Shaquille O’Neal unveils ‘unbeatable’ 5-man lineup featuring 3 Lakers

Los Angeles Lakers icon Shaquille O’Neal has the perfect starting lineup, and it features three Lakers players. Can you make any guesses?

O’Neal has a new all-time starting five and he is more than convinced that this group would defeat any other team in the playoffs. We shouldn’t really try too hard and explain the reasons O’Neal had to pick three Lakers players.

Great Shaq re-posted an image of Allen Iverson, Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, LeBron James, and himself. It was a cool image featuring five incredible players.

Most NBA analysts wouldn’t really argue with O’Neal’s starting lineup. His starting five is packed with tons of scoring, defense, size and athleticism. Each of these players was brilliant with their respective team. Adding three Lakers players was a must in this case.

Iverson is not a true point guard, but King James could step in and play point-forward. Kobe, Iverson, LeBron, and MJ could hit a jumper with the game on the line. Simple as that. These five players combined for 19 NBA championships. Iversin never won a ring.

O’Neal’s starting five saw a lot of changes over the years.

In Sept. 2016, he left himself out of the ultimate lineup. He had Magic Johnson at point guard, MJ at shooting guard, Julius Erving at the three, Karl Malone in the power forward, and Bill Russell at center.

Dr. J and Russell inducted Shaq into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2016. Isaiah Thomas and Alonzo Mourning were there, too.

In April 2019, Shaq made a few changes during his appearance on NBC’s “Today.” He replaced Magic, Erving, and Russell with Bryant, Larry Bird, and Hakeem Olajuwon. This time he has Kobe, Iverson, LeBron, and MJ.

When it comes to LeBron, he is on his way to win another ring with the Los Angeles Lakers. The king of basketball is coming off his most recent NBA championship win. The Los Angeles Lakers won the championship inside the Orlando bubble. He got his fourth ring, and the Lakers won the 17th title in team history.
