The Patriots special teams look really great in the game against the Los Angeles Chargers. The team finished the first half with a second special teams touchdown of the game. This was more than enough to take a 28-0 lead into the half. Yes, New England plays really well at SoFi Stadium.

Patriots’ Cody Davis was able to block a 58-yard field goal attempt. McCourty got the ball at the Chargers’ 45-yard line and took it to the house. We have seen him do this, and he is brilliant.

McCourty hit his touchdown after a punt return touchdown by Olszewski in the first half. Newton had a couple of rushing touchdowns, and NFL experts are really impressed with this game. New England looks and plays well, and players are ready to hit the top again.

Head coach Bill Belichick was well aware of the struggles his players have on the field. Patriots players have taken notice of the same problem. COVID-19 has a huge impact on the game and players have to finish their games under special circumstances. New England doesn’t have a good season and everyone knows it. But, players are definitely ready to give their best and win the remaining games on their schedule. Newton has elevated his game. This comes right after he was seen apologizing to Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels at the sidelines. New England has a good game so far, and Belichick is impressed with his players.

Veteran wideout Julian Edelman has yet to return to the field. He recovers from his procedure and also has to clear up COVID-19 protocols. For now, Patriots players have to work with the current receiving unit.
