Future Hall-of-Famer ‘Could Be in Play’ for Patriots in 2021

The New England Patriots missed the playoffs this season. Head coach Bill Belichick will have to make some changes to the roster. The Patriots will need to do things differently in 2021.

This leads us all the way to Tom Brady. The former Patriots quarterback defeated Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated Rodgers’ team, celebrating a 31-26 loss. TB12 finished the NFC Championship game with a big W. Lambeau Field was on fire.

Rodgers to join the Patriots in 2021

Rodgers surprised media members with the comments he made after the loss. Believe it or not, Rodgers isn’t too excited about his return to the team.

Is Rodgers making his way to New England? The team has been linked to several players, including Rodgers. The future Hall-of-Famer may be a good fit for Belichick and his team. At least one football outlet confirms the possibility.

Rodgers’ current team drove the ball inside the Bucs’ 10-yard line with 2 minutes left of the game. The team was 31-23 at the time and the Buccaneers forced Packers players into a 4th-down division. Head coach Matt LaFleur decided to kick a field goal and trust his defensive players. They wanted to force a three-and-out against TB12 and his team.

Things didn’t work really well as the Buccaneers ran out the rest of the clock to seal their win. Media members asked Rodgers about the field goal and the 2-point conversion.

Everyone noticed that Rodgers disapproves this decision. Moreover, some say he hates it.

Rodgers answered questions regarding the loss and his future in the NFL.

“A lot of guys futures, they’re uncertain, myself included,” he said. “Just gonna have to take some time away and clear my head and kind of see what’s going on with everything.”

Rodgers is 37 and he has yet to make a decision on his retirement. Maybe the team will trade him for another option. The Packers may not be too excited about giving up on a quarterback who tossed 48 touchdowns and 5 interceptions in 2020. Let’s see what happens next with Rodgers and the Patriots.
