LeBron James and Marc Gasol play on the same team for the first time in their career. Both players have built incredible relationships, and many would agree that they make an incredible duo. In the first season together as Lakers teammates, LeBron and Gasol have shown that they rank at the top of the list when it comes to playing on the same court.

LeBron has this incredible ability to blend with his teammates. He has worked with so many players throughout his entire career. We have seen him build great connection with players of all kinds. LeBron plays really well when paired with Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Dennis Schroder, and Anthony Davis.

Gasol and Schroder are in the first season as members of the Lakers family. There’s almost zero concern about their chemistry with the rest of the team.

The Spanish native joined the Lakers in the November free agency. Lakers General Manager Rob Pelinka got the veteran for a really good reason. Gasol offered a clear indication of why the franchise signed him this past offseason.

The Lakers signed Gasol to increase their chances of winning a title.  Gasol joined the Lakers for the same reason. He really wants to win his second ring. He was part of the Toronto Raptors in 2019 and helped the team win the first championship in franchise history.

Gasol spent a big portion of his career with the Memphis Grizzlies. He has already confronted his former team. Gasol played against the Grizzlies. He returned to Memphis for the first time since signing with the Lakers. Of course, he has nothing but gratitude for his former team.

Memphis traded Gasol to the Toronto Raptors, and he didn’t get a chance to play against his former team as a Raptor. Now he has a chance to do that. It was awkward, but it’s basketball. Gasol is thankful for everything the team did for him.
