LeBron James Wants to Buy WNBA Team

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James may soon become an owner of a WNBA team. The four-time NBA champion entertained the idea of buying a team.

WNBA’s Atlanta Dream is co-owned by Georgia senator Kelly Loeffler. She is trailing in her special election to Democratic candidate Reverend Raphael Warnock. Players have been campaigning for Warnock and they were really outspoken against Loeffler. The latter has swung to the right wing of the Republican Party after getting the seat. Governor Brian Kemp named Loeffler following the resignation of Johnny Isakson.

Warnock leads the big game with “50.6-percent of the vote with 98-percent tabulated.” It was more than obvious that he would win last night, and a few outlets even called the race. King James took to Twitter to share his simple idea.

“Think I’m going to put together an ownership group for The Dream,” he tweeted. LeBron also shared a photo of the team wearing those “Vote Warnock” shirts.

LeBron James supports the WNBA team

LeBron has been pretty active in the past few months. He played a big role in the voting process. LeBron’s ideals are pretty similar to those of the Atlanta Dream’s players. This doesn’t apply to Kelly Loeffler. We don’t really know how will she sell her part in the team.

King James used his presence inside the NBA bubble to help the African-American community to use their right to vote. He started off an initiative to support people in the process. He contributed to the community and this is what makes him the greatest of all time. There are so many great players, but their impact is nothing like all the great things LeBron did throughout his career.

The veteran has been pretty loud in the fight against systemic racism. LeBron supported the Black Lives Matter movement and called out those who did nothing about the shooting of George Floyd and other African-Americans.

When it comes to LeBron and his success, he is going after his next title with the Los Angeles Lakers. the team is doing a good job so far in the season.
