Report: 3 Lakers Starters Questionable vs Rockets

The Los Angeles Lakers have listed three of their starters as questionable for the upcoming game vs Houston Rockets. This may not be the most ideal scenario, but Lakers players are ready to take the challenge.

LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope are listed as questionable for Sunday’s match. Jovan Buha was among the first to confirm the news.

Davis is dealing with right adductor strain and LeBron is treating his left ankle sprain. Caldwell-Pope suffered a left ankle sprain, too. AD and KCP sat out Friday’s 117-115 win over the Chicago Bulls. Davis is missing the second straight game. KCP did his best to return to the floor and recover from the injury he suffered Jan.1 in the game against the San Antonio Spurs.

Three Lakers starters may miss the game vs Rockets

The Lakers have listed LeBron as questionable in multiple occasions. Let’s not forget that the king of basketball has yet to miss a game. He was active in the first 10 games of the regular season and led the team to seven wins. The Lakers have a 7-3 record at this point of the season, and LeBron’s constant presence in the starting lineup was of great help.

Lakers players entered the 2019-20 NBA season with a loss to their city rivals. But, the loss to the Los Angeles Clippers motivated everyone to elevate their game and finish the night with a win. LeBron’s team lost three games throughout the season and players are ready to move on with great dominance.

LA has a four-game winning streak but ended up losing the game to the Spurs. Sunday’s game against Houston is the beginning of the challenging stretch of games for the franchise. The defending champions will spend a lot of time on the road. Ten of their 12 games are actually road games. It’s interesting to note that the Lakers have had great success in their games away from home.

Davis was far from happy with the defense, but Lakers head coach Frank Vogel says there’s nothing to worry about. It’s time for a long winning streak.
