Sports Doctor Estimates The Earliest LeBron James Could Return

LeBron James is gone for a day and fans can’t wait for him to return. The four-time NBA champion suffered an ankle injury last night. His teammates lost the game against the Atlanta Hawks. It was a scary moment for everyone and Lakers fans started panicking. LeBron is down with an injury and there’s nothing good about it.

The king of basketball was diagnosed with a high ankle sprain. He will stay on the sidelines for some time. It’s a terrible development for the Laker and his disappointment is more than obvious. We all saw him throwing the chair at the sidelines. He feels terrible at the moment.

“Nothing angers and saddens me more than not being available to and for my teammates,” he tweeted. “I’m hurt inside and out right now. The road back from recovery begins now.”

Fans can’t wait for LeBron James to return

How many games will LeBron miss? High ankle sprains aren’t terrible but can linger. That’s terrible news for a superstar.

Dr. Jesse Morse of the Fantasy Doctors provided an explanation on LeBron’s injury. The sports medicine expert believes that LeBron will stay out for a while.

“These take at least three weeks [to heal]. That is the best-case scenario,” Morse said. “LeBron is a genetic freak in a good way, but this is not an injury you can come back from too quickly.”

Vogel has to be cautious with LeBron. He needs to have him ready for the postseason. But, Anthony Davis is missing time, too, so Vogel has to change his winning formula. Vogel has to create a gameplan that doesn’t include LeBron and Davis. It’s a challenging task.

Dennis Schroder will probably get a bigger role in the next couple of weeks. He will carry a heavier role. Marc Gasol will eventually return. Is this enough for the Lakers to win games? Who knows…

LeBron traveled with his teammates though. He is doing the best he can. Staying on the sidelines seems perfect at the moment. He will give quick tips and lead his teammates. That should do at the moment.
