Lakers’ Dennis Schroder Throws Harsh Shade at Nets

A lot of superstars suffered terrible injuries this season. The Los Angeles Lakers lost Anthony Davis to an injury in February. LeBron James has been out since March 30. The Brooklyn Nets played without Kevin Durant, too. Brooklyn hasn’t had all of its superstars on the court together. When it comes to Durant’s team, Dennis Schroder threw shade at the Nets.

Most NBA experts believe that the Lakers would see the Nets in the NBA Finals. The defending champions entered the new season as the top seed but fell to No.5 in the West. The Lakers guard doesn’t mind any of this. Moreover, he believes his team would win this title, too.

Dennis Schroder throws shade at the Nets and adds fuel to the fire

The German native responded to someone who had Brooklyn sweeping the Lakers in four games. Schroder’s message was loud and clear.

Congratulations, Schroder, you have started off the rivalry between the Lakers and Nets. We also saw him get into a heated argument with Kyrie Irving. We would never miss a game between LA and Brooklyn.

“First off, it don’t matter where we end up at [in the seeding], I believe,” Schroder said Thursday. “End of the day, you want to make the playoffs. You want to win games and you want to focus on us, what we do and try to get better every game until everybody gets back.

“To this point, because I mean, they [are] hurt, they was hurt, trying to come back. I think we can’t rush nobody and everybody else coming from the bench, just gotta give everything they have to win a game. We just got to get out there [for] 48 minutes, try to give everything we have and try to come up with some wins, of course. I think for me personally, if everybody is there, in a seven-game series, I put my money on us. Like I said, just try to get better game by game and try to get out with some W’s.”

Schroder isn’t worried about the current seeding. He can see his team in the NBA Finals. LA played without LeBron and AD for a few months, and Davis is already back.
