Report: Bill Belichick Dropping The Ball With JC Jackson

The New England Patriots are bringing in a lot of fresh power. However, head coach Bill Belichick will have to make a decision on his current players, and JC Jackson is definitely on this list. Will the Patriots keep him around for another season or two?

NFL analysts believe that Belichick will get rid of an excellent player instead of keeping him around for a while.

Jackson is a former undrafted free agent who deserves a good deal. Well, the Patriots won’t give him a lot of money, that’s a sure bet. Jackson has provided a lot of great stats and he is sure deserving of a new contract.

Belichick to let JC Jackson go

Mike Giardi from NFL.com covered his story. Here’s what he wrote about the performance of this incredible player:

“… Since 2019, the Florida native has kept opposing receivers on lockdown, allowing the lowest passer rating in the league (per PFF), a paltry 48. That’s 14.4 rating points better than the cavalcade of stars that are second over that time: Tre’Davious White, Stephon Gilmore and Xavien Howard. Jackson also has more interceptions (14) than any defensive back during this stretch. Is he a legit No. 1 corner?”

Experts were pretty convinced that Jackson would be a great player. He will soon make a Pro Bowl appearance and this may happen this season.

Team owner Robert Kraft told Belichick that he should get some nice selections and a quarterback. The Patriots head coach did this and much more. He brought Mac Jones to New England and got free agents like Jonnu Smith and Hunter Henry. What about players like Stephon Gilmore and JC Jackson?

Will Jackson have the same destiny as TB12? Belichick didn’t pay him and let the GOAT go. He did the same with Deion Branch, Ty Law, Asante Samuel, Akiem Hicks, Ted Washington, and Malcolm Butler. These players contributed to the success but Belichick let them go. Let’s see what happens to Jackson in the next few weeks.
