Russell Westbrook had his first workout as a player of the Los Angeles Lakers. He didn’t waste his time and got back to work right on time. Being a Laker is a big deal and Westbrook knows it best. He will get a chance to play with LeBron James and Anthony Davis. This is a big deal for every player on the Lakers roster.
The NBA superstar enjoyed his intense workout in Los Angeles on Friday. How does he feel?
The 32-year-old toured his old stomping ground after the big news broke Thursday. He had a trip to The Nice Guy in WeHo with Kevin Hart. They are great friends, remember?

Friday was all about business. The 2017 MVP enjoyed his workout at one of the training facilities. He even shared a tweet to hype up his new team. “HomeTeam. WHYNOT?”
The veteran spoke to the media right after he left the facility and this is more than good news for Lakers fans. He said, “I feel good, brother.”
Yes, we needed to hear this!
How does it feel to come home? “Great!” Oh he is coming home to win!
Westbrook is definitely happy to be home. He grew up in Los Angeles and now he has a chance to win a championship with a LA team. Bringing the ring back to LA is a big deal right now and Westbrook will do his best to make it happen.
Westbrook has already met with LeBron and Davis. They met over dinner at LeBron’s house to talk about their roles on the basketball court. To make this trade work, LeBron will have the final word on offense and Davis will probably go at center. The big man is not a fan of this position but he will do whatever it takes to win. Lakers players are serious about their championship run.
Pelinka is not done yet. He will have to make a few more moves. The Lakers need role players and several veterans have shown interest in signing with the team.
