Antoine Walker Shares Fascinating Details About an Michael Jordan – LeBron James Matchup

The GOAT debate revolves around Michael Jordan and LeBron James. Well, Jordan and LeBron would make a great matchup. The Chicago Bulls legend was on his way out when LeBron entered the NBA. LeBron will have to retire at some point, but he still has a lot to offer. He is playing elite basketball with the Lakers at the moment.

MJ made a second comeback to the NBA in 2001 with the Washington Wizards. He retired in 2003 right before LeBron was selected with the No.1 pick.

Former Celtics star Antoine Walker had the opportunity to share the court with MJ and a few other players in 2001. This happened right before Jordan’s return to the floor. He was trying to get into game shape, you know. So, they had scrimmages with Tim Hardaway, Michael Finley, Juwan Howard, and other top players.

“We treated LeBron like the 16-year-old he was” said Antoine. “Very competitive. All we talked about every day was winning. He used to give me so much stuff about not winning a championship. If you weren’t a winner, he had little respect for you.”
