Tom Brady Tries To Recruit Ex-Patriots Teammates In ‘Madden 22’ Video

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is on a full recruit mode and this time he is going after his former Patriots teammates. The New England Patriots lost TB12 in the spring of 2020 and he opted to sign with the Bucs. The team offered him a two-year deal worth $50+ million.

It was a good move for Brady as he won a Super Bowl with his new team. Need more? He did it with the help of one of his former teammates. Brady was able to lure Rob Gronkowski out of retirement last offseason. Gronk decided to retire right after winning a Super Bowl with the Patriots. He was in so much pain and NFL analysts said he was the shell of himself. So, Gronk was retired but he came out of his retirement to join Brady in Tampa Bay. They worked with an excellent group of players and we all know what happened next.

The Bucs quarterback is now looking forward to recruiting more Patriots players. He has his eyes set on his former teammates. Sort of.

Tom Brady wants to recruit Patriots players

This is the theme of the new “Madden NFL 22” video game promo. Brady shared it Tuesday to his social media accounts. It’s an ad and it encourages fans to pre-order the “MVP edition” of the annual EA Sports video game. TB12 called some retired Patriots players to join the “Come Play in Tampa” thing.

“Honing my recruiting game… ,” the accompanying caption reads.

He targeted Julian Edelman, Mike Vrabel, Randy Moss, Vince Wilfork, Willie McGinest, Tedy Bruschi, Wes Welker and Chad Ochocinco.

Guess what… none of his former teammates wanted to follow Gronk’s plan. Well, not everyone can delay Father Time like TB12. He is the greatest quarterback of all time, remember? The man helped the Patriots win six Super Bowls.

When it comes to the Patriots, they are off to a better season. Bill Belichick made some changes and it seems like the best has yet to come. The new-look Patriots team will try to win a title this time. They have all the assets they need to do so.
