Damian Lillard Gives His Take in LeBron James, Michael Jordan GOAT Debate

Damian Lillard has given his take on the LeBron Games and Michael Jordan GOAT debate and it might surprise some people. The Los Angeles Lakers are set to get their season started in around 3 weeks from today. They will be taking on the Golden State Warriors in their first game of the season. It will be interesting to see how the new roster fits together in the first few games of the season.

But the GOAT debate between LeBron James and Michael Jordan never ends. And a new player has recently joined the debate. Damian Lillard bluntly gave his opinion on Twitter about who he thinks the greatest player of all time is. This debate seems to be never ending and it is clear that there is no clear winner. People on both sides think that they have the right choice. But in reality, you could easily make a case for either. Damian Lillard, however, does not think so.

Charles Barkley famously gave his opinion on the matter during an interview with Wright.

“To go through the grind and to lose – which Michael did. When I was watching that documentary [“The Last Dance” on ESPN in 2020], I was like, ‘Damn, I forgot how much the Pistons beat him up.’ But going through that struggle, that’s what separates sports,” he said.

“The struggle is part of your legacy.”

“What would people have asked LeBron to do? I am just curious,” Wright asked. “Would they have liked LeBron to just stick it out in Cleveland? Because this wasn’t a Durant [in] Oklahoma City situation – where you had Russ, and you had James Harden before they traded him away, and Serge Ibaka.

“LeBron spent seven years in Cleveland the first time around. The best teammate he had initially was Ricky Davis. It then was Zydrunas Ilgauskas. It then was Larry Hughes. And it culminated with Mo Williams.”

“LeBron is amazing. What he has done in the community is amazing, ” Barkley said. But according to him, Kobe is also superior to LeBron James.
