Hunter Henry Predicts Breakout Game For This Patriots Teammate

Hunter Henry and Jonnu Smith joined the New England Patriots in the offseason, but the latter has yet to make an impact on the field. The Patriots brought both tight ends for a reason. They have experience, and yes, the Patriots needed strong tight end options. Rob Gronkowski is no longer part of the team, and Bill Belichick had to find a god replacement. Henry has great relationship with the team. How will Smith handle the new team?

“He’s going to come on,” Henry said of his fellow tight end. “I’m excited to see him break out. … He works extremely hard at what he does, so I think he’s going to cont1inue to keep coming.”

There’s more. Henry really likes everything Smith does on the practice field. The tight end has great workout ethic and things look good for him. But, he has to bond with Mac Jones.

“He’s a stud, man,” said Henry. “He’s fun to be around. Works his tail off and there’s a lot of competition in the room. Always trying to compete with each other — against our guys and on the field. I think it’s a healthy room where we’re always trying to better ourselves, communicate better. So those things are continuing to improve.”

Hunter Henry and Jonnu Smith will lead the Patriots to a win

Henry is really confident that his team will find his spot in New England. Coach Belichick brought him to the team for a reason. Smith made huge impact with his other team.

“Man, he’s been doing this for a while,” Henry said. “Obviously, I’m going to be there and encourage him in some of those tough times, but the man — he’s done it for a while. He knows what he’s doing. He has a process and the way he goes about things. It’s fun being the teammate of a guy who works extremely hard and is very present in the meetings, bouncing things off communication-wise. So he’s doing a great job. He’s a lot of fun to be around and compete with and go out there and try to win some games with.”

The Patriots are playing the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. They will play the game without the right side of the offense.
