LeBron James’, Anthony Davis’ Status For Lakers Game Against OKC Revealed

The Los Angeles Lakers will meet the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night and fans have several questions. Will head coach Frank Vogel have his both superstars on the floor tonight? The Lakers revealed that LeBron James will be out while listing Anthony Davis as questionable for the game against OKC. Should we panic right now?

LeBron missed the game against the San Antonio Spurs due to ankle soreness and he will miss this one. His teammates beat the Spurs and celebrated a 125-121 overtime win.

LeBron and Davis should join forces to beat OKC and other teams

Lakers were able to win without LeBron, but it wasn’t that easy. The team started winning games and they were able to prove doubters wrong. I guess the “old guys” still have a lot to offer. Some of the players deal with injuries right now, but Vogel seems to be happy with his current lineup. Playing without LeBron will be hard but LA can do it. The 36-year-old is averaging 26 points per game and the team needs this number each and every night. Let’s hope that he won’t miss too much time on the floor. LeBron missed 26 games due to similar injury last season.

What about Davis?

The 28-year-old suffered a knee injury in Tuesday’s win over the Spurs. He grabbed his knee and gave everyone a big scare. This injury didn’t stop him last night and Davis finished his night with 35 points, 17 rebounds, and 4 blocks. The Lakers listed him as questionable for the game against Oklahoma.

Davis changed his routine this summer and was a frequent guest in the weight room. This huge change helped him avoid serious injuries.

Staying healthy is really important and players should avoid serious injuries. LeBron knows that health is a huge factor this season. Los Angeles has a lot of veterans on the roster and they have to stay healthy to make the playoffs and the NBA Finals. LeBron and AD missed a big chunk of the regular season last year and the team lost many games.
