Michelle Beadle Says LeBron James Tried to Get Her Fired From ESPN

Michelle Beadle opened the LeBron James topic once again. She used her new podcast to deliver a message and she made people talk again. It’s been two years now, and Beadle opened the old wounds again.

On her second episode of the “What Did I Miss” podcast, Beadle and former ESPN colleague Paul Pierce discussed multiple topics, including LeBron James. Pierce talked about his firing from the Worldwide Leader, and Beadle mentioned LeBron. The “Decision” was here again.

Pierce asked Beadle about the rumor about LeBron and her. A lot of people said that the four-time NBA champion got Beadle fired from ESPN. Is this true?

Michelle Beadle talked about LeBron James

Beadle said LeBron did an effort. She tried to turn the whole thing into a joke. Sort of.

“He tried,” she said of the rumor. “Did try, yup. He did try to do that. I was like, ‘Wow, I’m honored that I’m even on your mind. Thank you very much, sir. That’s a weird place for me to be.’ “My stuff with him started out not personal. I made fun of ‘The Decision’ like 400,000 other talking heads did at the time, and I think for some reason that was it. It wasn’t personal to begin with. It obviously now will always be personal. Yes, it is what it is. But I also am very comfortable with not liking people. I think that’s what makes us all healthy. It’s the people that pretend they like everyone – you can’t trust them.”

Beadle should have provided more details about this so-called effort. Who did LeBron call? Did he meet the right people? We have so many questions about the Beadle saga.

Beadle had two stints at ESPN. She hosted “SportsNation” from 2009 through 2012 and then joined NBC Sports. She rejoined her ESPN family in 2014 and resumed hosting “SportsNation.” Beadle was host of “NBA Countdown” and left the company again in 2019.

When it comes to LeBron, he is missing a lot of time due to his abdominal strain.
