LeBron James, Lakers Get Huge Boost Ahead of Christmas Day Clash With Nets

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers will meet the Brooklyn Nets in their Christmas Day game. It’s a big game for everyone, and LeBron is definitely excited about the great opportunity. Lakers players always have a big game on Christmas Day. They usually play the Golden State Warriors.

The team entered the 2021-22 NBA season as top contenders for the championship. However, head coach Frank Vogel had to deal with too many injuries and positive COVID tests. Many players missed a significant chunk of the regular season due to injuries. The latest COVID variant made the situation even worse. The head coach tested positive, too.

LeBron tested positive, too. However, it was just a big misunderstanding. He cleared COVID protocols and joined his teammates right away. Of course, he missed one game.

LeBron and Lakers teammates will get extra help on Christmas Day

Lakers fans will sure love the big news. Avery Bradley and Malik Monk cleared their protocols, too. Both players entered NBA protocols after testing positive. It looks like they have a chance to join their teammates against the Brooklyn Nets.

Austin Reaves, Kent Bazemore, and Trevor Ariza are still on the COVID list.

Coach Vogel is in the NBA’s health and safety protocols. Anthony Davis and Kendrick Nunn are still out due to their injuries.

Lakers players will get great reinforcement in the backcourt. Monk and Bradley will be of great help for the team in the upcoming stretch.

Things are much easier for the Lakers now. They won’t have to sign new players. They already have Jemerrio Jones, Isaiah Thomas, and Darren Collison.

The Nets deal with similar situation. They will be without Kevin Durant. LaMarcus Aldridge entered COVID protocols, too.
