Report: Lakers Eyeing Disgruntled Star on Trade Block

The Los Angeles Lakers have a 14-13 record at the moment and rumors suggest that the front office may consider pulling out a few trade moves. Some say the front office will fire head coach Frank Vogel. We’ve heard people say that Anthony Davis should go. Well, Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal just want to see him improve his performance.

LA goes at the .500 mark and we have to be honest, players can do much better than this. Unfortunately, new players struggled to fit in the system. Building chemistry was actually hard for the new guys. A bunch of veterans came to LA to win their first ring and they even accepted the veteran minimum.

Lakers may trade for Indiana Pacers player

Enter injuries. Suspensions. COVID-19. Players were in and out the whole time. This made things really hard for the head coach. Vogel has to come up with a new lineup every night. Quite a challenge, huh? What does it mean?

The Lakers may really consider trading for a good player. Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner may be one of them. Turner doesn’t like his current role with the team. His situation is not that good and he’s been making a lot of headlines in the last few weeks.

“I’ve heard there’s been some talks with the Lakers, previously Charlotte checked in several times,” Pacers insider Scott Agness said during a podcast episode, referring to Turner’s potential departure.

The front office brought great players in the mix. This wasn’t enough and he may go for another name. Bringing a couple of new names could be a game-changer.

The good news? LeBron feels great. He is back in form and this has helped him lead his team to a win. Staying healthy is a priority right now. The team can’t lose more players to injuries at this point. LeBron and his team don’t want to take part in the play-in tournament again, right? That’s exactly what happened last season. LA defeated the Golden State Warriors but left the playoffs in the very first round. Maybe the Lakers really need a new addition.
