Brandon Bolden had to win his cancer battle and guess what… That’s exactly what he did. The New England Patriots running back was diagnosed with epidermoid carcinoma when he was 28. It’s not an aggressive type of cancer, but yes, it’s cancer.

In his interview with Sportscasting, Bolden talked about his battle. Those hard times made him stronger and he decided to share this strength with other people. Millions of people deal with cancer and Bolden decided to motivate them to fight and win.

Brandon Bolden won his cancer battle

It was a long journey and it included a surgery. Bolden had his surgery in 2018 but kept it a secret. He told his fans about it in an Instagram video.

“A lot of people look at the estimates and, you know, once you get on top of everything, you can beat it and continue to be cancer-free,” Bolden saidtold Sportscasting. “So I just kind of want to be that voice of keep going, keep fighting, and take control of your whole life. It doesn’t even have to be cancer. It could be anything from the smallest thing to the biggest thing.”

Bolden became part of the American Association for Cancer Research. He made this decision to help others and raise general awareness. He will also take part in an event in April.

“I’m here to help everybody else and just be a voice for those who would tend to be afraid of a situation like that,” Bolden said.

When it comes to football, Bolden is doing an excellent job. He did a good job in 2021. The veteran had an opportunity to work with Mac Jones and they had a really good connection on the field. Bolden has nothing but words of praise for the rookie. These two did good things together and Bill Belichick was more than happy to see them win games.

Bolden will try to do his best in the remaining seasons of his NFL career. Belichick appreciates great players and Bolden is definitely one of them.
