Several reports confirmed that the team agreed to sign Matthew Slater to a contract. Fans are really excited about this. Belichick trusts great veterans and Slater is definitely one of them. According to Yates, Slater will get a one-year deal worth $2.62 million.

Patriots are bringing the franchise star to build strong leadership

Slater is a legend and Belichick needs every bit of his talent in 2022. Fans will enjoy watching games because Slater makes everything better. He is a true leader and has great connection with his teammates.
