The four-time NBA champion used his injury to tease fans. Let’s just say he gave us a really good scare. LeBron is dealing with a nagging ankle injury and has already missed a game due to this injury. Well, he took to Twitter to tell everyone that he is out for the season.

This joke didn’t last long. Sources revealed that LeBron will join his teammates in the game against the New Orleans Pelicans. The best part? Anthony Davis will probably see game action tonight as well.

King James has missed a big chunk of the regular season due to an injury. Davis has missed time, too. He hasn’t played since mid-February but there’s a promising update on his return. The Lakers big man felt really bad and he really needed extra time to recover. Head coach Frank Vogel reported that Davis has had the first full practice with the team.

LA has a bad record at the moment, and things may not get better than this. The Lakers have six games left on their schedule and they are playing against tough opponents. It won’t be easy to beat the Phoenix Suns, right? Well, if LeBron and Davis join forces, they can definitely add a few more wins to their chard.

The Lakers may not make the play-in tournament, but they can definitely try and fix the damage. They have nothing to lose, right?
