Malcolm Butler Confirms Devin McCourty’s Sentiment On Bill Belichick

The New England Patriots welcomed one of their former players back. Malcolm Butler will have a chance to work with Bill Belichick and some of his former teammates again. He joined the team after the infamous benching, but it looks like it’s all part of the past.

Butler is more than excited to join the Patriots and he made some mind-blowing comments about Belichick. Well, Devin McCourty started it first. The Patriots veteran said Belichick was “the model of consistency.” Belichick is the best coach in the NFL and his players sure learned a lot from him.

“I’ve always said, when people ask me what’s Bill like, that he’s the model of consistency,” the veteran safety said after a practice last week. “Showing up to your job every day, having the same attitude, the same messaging, and being able to do that over and over again is hard.

“He continues to come in here, Day 1 of OTAs, for however many years it is, and it’s the same intensity.

“It’s fundamentals, doing the right things, the small things over and over again. He never slips up on that. This being my 13th year, I’ve seen that over and over again. It’s hard to replicate, but I think getting an opportunity to play for him as a player has made me a better player.”

Malcolm Butler and Bill Belichick will win a lot of games together

Butler noticed that his former head coach hasn’t changed a bit. Yes, he is a bit older, but age has nothing on him. He is a mastermind and the Patriots have a good chance to win the Super Bowl.

“Ain’t nothing changed but his age,” Butler said of Belichick.

Butler is a good addition to the team. He joins a new-look team and his veteran experience brings a lot to the field.

It’s good to know that Belichick hasn’t missed a bit. He shines brighter than ever and we have a good feeling about the upcoming season. Let’s see what the 2022 Patriots team does on the football field.
