Owner’s Cryptic Tweet Triggers Lakers Speculation

The Los Angeles Lakers are coming off of a terrible season. Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka decided to finish the regular season with the same roster. He didn’t make any moves at the deadline. Russell Westbrook didn’t leave the team and it seems like he will spend another season wearing a Lakers uniform. The team was linked to several players this offseason, but Pelinka has yet to make a move. The situation is a bit tricky and the Lakers have to find a strong solution. Lakers owner Jeanie Buss sparkled another speculation.

The front office fired Frank Vogel and hired Darvin Ham. Fixing the roster is a priority now. LA may trade for Kyrie Irving and this trade makes the most controversial topics these days. Irving may be the right player to join the Lakers. He knows LeBron James and won a ring during their time together. The Lakers can’t really sign him right away. They have to trade Russ. Some say Pelinka should trade Anthony Davis, too.

Jeanie Buss sparkles Lakers speculation after disappointing season

Buss took to Twitter to… shock fans.

“I miss KB,” Buss wrote. “He would understand and explain everything that I’m not allowed to. Honestly he was the greatest Laker ever. He understood team over self. Meaning your rewards would come if you valued team goals over your own then everything would fall into place.”

Well, Buss made a good point. Kobe Bryant was one of the best to play the game. He understood the gameplan and knew exactly what his team needs at any given moment. Kobe was a real star and a true leader.

Buss’ tweet made people talk. Did she target Westbrook? Pelinka?

Fans didn’t miss the chance to mention LeBron. He seems to be the key piece in each and every Lakers discussion. One thing stands for sure. LeBron didn’t sign with the Lakers to lose games. The team has to give him the right weapons so he can take them to a championship win. Let’s see how this goes… Who will be the first player to leave/join the team?
