Lakers’ Dennis Schroder Fires Back At Warriors Head Coach Steve Kerr Accusation

The Golden State Warriors suffered a terrible loss in Game 4 and their head coach came up with an excuse for his players. Well, the Los Angeles Lakers decided to strike back and teach the Warriors head coach a lesson. Dennis Schroder was among the first to deliver a special response to the accusations Kerr made.

Kerr accused his opponents of flopping in Game 4. He couldn’t accept the fact that his players lost the game. They were called for 22 personal fouls in the game and the Lakers did 15.

“I think we had three or four illegal screens called and that was disappointing,” Kerr said after the Game 4 loss. “I didn’t get a look at the replay on any of them, but there were a couple that were very disappointing just live. The Lakers, they’re a team that plays with a lot of gamesmanship. They understand how to generate some calls. I thought they took some flops and were rewarded, but I’ll have to see the replays. Maybe I’m wrong. Maybe those were all illegal screens, but I didn’t feel like it watching it.”

Schroder, Lakers players are motivated to beat Kerr and his team after the Game 4 win

Schroder embraced a bench role with the Lakers and he was really great in the win over the Golden State. He averages 11.3 points, 2 rebounds, and 2.3 assists while doing 45.4% from the field, 30.0% from beyond the arc, and 77.8% from the free-throw line. In Game 1 of the series, Schroder scored 19 points and 3 steals.

The Lakers are on a good way to win the series. However, the Warriors won’t give up without a fight. Kerr won’t let them lose the series to Darvin Ham’s team. The Warriors haven’t really lost a series in the Western Conference in Kerr’s time with the team. Will LeBron James and his teammates change this?

Anthony Davis is really serious about this series. Yes, he has made some mistakes in the postseason, but so did other players. The Lakers big man is the star of the series and he better take the Lakers to a win.
