Lakers Superstar LeBron James Calls Out Nuggets For Championship Taunt

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers didn’t make the NBA Finals and win a championship just because the Denver Nuggets stood in their way. The Nuggets did more than that. They mocked the Lakers and LeBron didn’t really like any of it.

Nuggets head coach Michael Malone took a dig at the Lakers after celebrating the championship win. He took a shot at LeBron during his appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, and yes, he really had to bring up the “retirement” thing.

“Speaking of the Lakers, I just want you guys to know this is breaking news: I’m thinking about retiring. Only kidding, only kidding,” Malone said.

Nuggets won the championship, but LeBron is here to teach them a lesson of good behavior

King James took notice of the comments Malone made. His message was loud and clear.

“In Europe for the last past few weeks minding my business and I hear I’m on your mind that much huh??? I mean I guess I see why,” LeBron wrote on Instagram. “But Wave the flag on these lames!! Please make being player cool again cause the lame machine is at an all-time high. Enjoy your light but just know I’m the SUN. I stay on forever!”

LeBron was never someone who paid too much attention to loud people. He never lets haters get under his skin. Wonder why? He is the GOAT. He is busy winning the world. LeBron moved his business to LA and he would never waste his time responding to trash-talkers. I guess Malone stepped on his nerve.

When it comes to retirement, LeBron dropped a few hints, but he didn’t really say much about his future plans.

Several reports suggest that LeBron may leave the Lakers after the 2023-24 NBA season. He wants to play with Bronny, and his oldest son is eligible to join the NBA in 2024. However, the Lakers may not get him which could push LeBron away from the Lakers. It’s a tricky situation, but we believe that LeBron will make the right call.

One thing stands for sure. LeBron will think twice before calling it career. This should be a lesson for Malone and other doubters.
