Next Season Will Definitely Be LeBron James’ Last With Lakers

Los Angeles Lakers owner Jeanie Buss and Magic Johnson signed LeBron James on the first day of his free agency in 2018. It was the biggest move back then and yes, the Lakers front office had great success. Signing LeBron was a big deal for the Lakers, but we have people saying that the 2023-24 season will be his last with the team.

LeBron moved his family and business to the big city. He is a businessman and moving to Los Angeles helped him in so many ways.

LeBron’s deal with the Lakers was of great help for the franchise. They had poor performance and he joined the team at the right time. The Lakers couldn’t even make the playoffs.

The Lakers made the big game inside the NBA bubble. They beat the Miami Heat and won a title in 2020. It was great success for the team. Yes, they missed the playoffs in the following season, but LeBron didn’t miss a beat. His game was great and he delivered a MVP performance each and every night. The four-time NBA champion missed time due to injuries, but he was able to carry the team on his back.

LeBron has a reason to leave the Lakers following the next season

Retirement. Bronny James. Several NBA analysts have discussed LeBron’s next move. Where will he go next? Will he retire? LeBron dropped a few hints about his eventual retirement. The 2023-24 season may actually be his last with the Lakers.

It goes all the way to Bronny. LeBron wants to play with Bronny. His oldest son committed to USC and he is eligible to join the NBA in 2024.

The New Orleans Pelicans can get the Lakers 2024 first-rounder and stop them from getting Bronny. King James has a player option for the 2024-25 season and may opt out of his deal to join whatever team gets Bronny in 2024. We have a few reasons to believe that LeBron will even agree to take less money than usual in order to play on the same team with his son.
