Lakers’ Big Man Domestic Problem On Top Of Recent Injury

Knee injury is not the only problem Los Angeles Lakers center Christian Wood deals with right now. According to several reports, the Lakers big man struggles with a huge domestic problem.

TMZ reported that Wood was granted a temporary restraining order against his ex-girlfriend Yasmine Lopez. Wood and Yasmine broke up in December 2022 and she sure tries her best to cause chaos. They share 8-month-old baby boy Kobe Sean.

“Wood claims on February 23, 2024, Lopez and her friends trespassed at his California residence by climbing a fence … and she proceeded to scratch the hood and doors of his Mercedes-Benz,” TMZ said.

As if this wasn’t enough, there is also a video of Wood’s vehicle.

This is not an isolated incident and Yasmine has crossed the line many times before. She was practically harassing the Lakers big man all this time.

“Wood also details an August 2023 incident in which he says Lopez broke into his home in Encino … destroying statues, glass and vases and attempting to hit him,” TMZ said. “He says friends who were present at the time called the police, who de-escalated the situation.”

Yasmine has done this before. She trespassed Wood’s home in January 2023 and vandalized his Lamboghini.

Wood also accuses Lopez of trespassing at his home in January 2023, when he was a member of the Dallas Mavericks … claiming she spray-painted his Lamborghini,” TMZ reported.

Yasmine will now have to “stay at least 100 yards away” from Wood. She is definitely allowed to maintain “brief and peaceful contact” with him about the little boy.

Wood’s knee injury has kept him away from the basketball court. The Lakers replaced him with two-way player Hary Giles III. Wood will resume his role with the Lakers once his knee gets better. The Lakers signed him on a two-year deal last summer and he is set to get $5.7 million.
