Messi has been making headlines for years. He is one of the best soccer players in history and yes, many would say he is the greatest of all time. He took Argentina to the World Cup in 2022 and he is not even done yet.
Messi played for Paris Saint-Germain FC of Ligue 1 and decided to try his chances in Miami.
Brady and Messi will have a great time in Miami
Brady has a strong connection with Miami. He is really close with Inter Miami owner David Beckham. The former quarterback also tried to become one of the owners of the Miami Dolphins, but former head coach Brian Flores filed a lawsuit to stop this.
Brady got over his Dolphins fever and played another season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He is officially retired, but fans are not buying this story. Many believe that he will actually stay on the NFL field for a little longer.
The GOAT has nothing but respect for Messi and everything he has accomplished over the years. Greatness recognizes greatness and Brady shows great respect for Messi and other greats. He is a soccer fan, too, and this brings him even closer to Messi.
Messi made a big move with his new deal and he will definitely make a big splash on the new ground.
“I love Messi, he is a great player; however, I am a little older than him,” Brady said in a press conference before the Super Bowl in 2018. “I love soccer, I’ve watched it for a long time and I’m not old enough to have watched Maradona, that’s probably for previous generations. Admire him, he’s a great athlete.”
