The Los Angeles Lakers have great respect for their ticket holders and had a huge surprise for them all heading into the new 2023-24 NBA season. The Lakers have an army of fans following their success and celebrate their accomplishment. We have a few good reasons that the Lakers will give them quite a show in the 2023-24 season. LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Austin Reaves, Rui Hachimura, and the rest of the guys will make sure this happens.

So, what’s the surprise? Or the gift to be more precise?

According to latest updates, the franchise is sending its season ticket holders some commemorative tickets of LeBron’s all-time points scored record game and Pau Gasol’s retirement ceremony game. What an excellent gift, right?

Lakers ticket holders received the perfect gift

The four-time NBA champion became the NBA’s top-scorer of all time in the third quarter of the game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on February 7. LeBron passed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and made history. How did it happen? The king of basketball made a step-back jumper with 10.9 seconds remaining in the third quarter of the game. As fans may remember, refs stopped the game temporarily to honor this accomplishment. NBA legend Abdul-Jabbar passed the ball to LeBron.

In the 130-133 loss to the Thunder, LeBron scored 38 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, and 4 turnovers. Abdul-Jabbar was sitting on the throne since April 5, 1984. Wilt Chamblerlain was the previous record holder.

LeBron wasn’t really bragging around about his accomplishment. He said he had always been a pass-first guy and we couldn’t agree more.

NBA legend Gasol had his retirement ceremony March 7. The Lakers played against the Memphis Grizzlies and this was a game fans will never forget. Gasol had quite an impact on the NBA world and became a role model for younger generations. Gasol and Kobe did wonders together and fans will never forget this.

The Lakers found a way to keep everyone happy and entertained. I bet those fans will keep coming back!
