Lakers Fans Go Crazy As Christian Wood Potentially Hints At L.A. Winning Title No. 18

The Los Angeles Lakers got really close to the NBA Finals last season and it seems like they are ready to go for their title No. 18. The front office kept most of the core intact and also added a few new names. Christian Wood is one of them and he is determined to win.

Wood joined the Lakers in the offseason. NBA analysts have high expectations for him. He signed a two-year deal with the team and also has a player option. In other words, he could opt out after this season and test the open market. Head coach Darvin Ham will find the best role for the veteran center and we have a few good reasons to believe that he is a natural fit for the team.

Fun fact? Wood has been dreaming of this since forever. He even took to his Twitter account to share the good news! Yes, he did sign the veteran minimum deal, but he is excited to wear a purple and gold jersey.

Wood last played with the Dallas Mavericks and now is his time to shine as a Laker.

The Lakers will do whatever it takes to fix their roster and make the NBA Finals this season. They couldn’t get past Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets last season. It was a big challenge for the Lakers, giving them all the hype this season.

Wood is a much needed boost for the Lakers offense in the frontcourt. Let’s see if he helps the Lakers improve their shooting. It is a long season ahead, but it is too soon to make predictions.
