Lakers LeBron James Hints At Playing For Much Longer Than Expected

LeBron James enters his 21st season in the NBA and will turn 39 in December. This makes him the oldest active player in the regular season. Well, he is also the best player in the NBA. Age has nothing on him and he delivers a MVP performance each night. There were rumors suggesting that the four-time NBA champion plans to retire this past offseason, but everything points to the fact that LeBron will consider playing longer than expected.

LeBron played with three different teams in his NBA career. He had two stints with the Cleveland Cavaliers and one stint with the Miami Heats. He signed a few extensions with the Los Angeles Lakers and may finish his career with the purple and gold. Well, there’s also an option to join the team that selects his son.

King James uses every opportunity to say that he wants to play with his son Bronny. He wouldn’t retire before sharing the floor with his oldest son. Bronny is treating a health condition and it may take time for LeBron’s dreams to come true. His oldest son is a freshman at USC and he still has a chance to join the NBA right on time for the 2024-25 NBA season.

NBA fans bet to see LeBron playing longer than expected

The king of basketball has even greater plans for his future! Playing with Bronny is not the only goal on LeBron’s bucket list. We have a few good reasons to believe that LeBron would gladly play with his younger son Bryce Maximus. His younger son has two years of high school left.

For this to happen, LeBron would have to spend at least four more years in the NBA. This scenario was fueled by a recent commercial spot voiced by lovely Savannah. Oh, LeBron could really share the floor with his two sons. That would be brilliant!

“In this new commercial spot, voiced by Savannah James, there is a reference to LeBron’s continued desire to not only play with his son Bronny, but also his son Bryce, before retiring,” ESPN’s Dave McMenamin tweeted.
