LeBron Fans Debating His ESPN Player Ranking For 2023-24 Season

LeBron James is the best player in league history, but some people are desperately trying to dethrone him. ESPN has the latest player ranking and LeBron won’t be too happy about it. His fans aren’t happy either.

LeBron is the GOAT, but ESPN says he is the ninth best player in the world. This is wrong on so many levels, because we all know that LeBron plays his best basketball heading into his 21st NBA season. The four-time NBA champion will turn 39 in December and his game is stronger than ever.

NBA teams entered their preseason with great plans. Most teams made changes to adjust their roster. General managers brought new players and got rid of those who didn’t contribute to the game last season. The Lakers made changes, too. Rob Pelinka re-signed some of the veterans and signed a few new names, including Vincent Gabe.

LeBron and fans oppose the player ranking

NBA superstars secured their spots for the season and LeBron is still the ultimate leader for the Lakers. Anthony Davis will step in to help him lead the team to a win, too.

ESPN ranked the top 100 NBA players in order, and King James was ranked as the ninth best player in the NBA. Oh, fans didn’t like this at all. Most of them agreed that LeBron should be on the top again. Yes, there are also people who say this is an accurate ranking.

LeBron has a MVP performance every season. He doesn’t get the award just because the Lakers couldn’t make the NBA Finals and win a title in the last few seasons. The king of basketball averaged 28.9 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 6.8 assists in the 2022-23 NBA season. He did all that on 50 percent shooting from the field and 32 percent from long distance. LeBron also made the All-Star Game again and this was his 19th appearance. He also made the All-NBA for the 19th time in his professional career. All this and he ended up ninth?
