LeBron James Has Great Reaction To Realizing He’s Older Than NBA Head Coach

The Los Angeles Lakers trusted LeBron James a few years ago and they had a really good reason to do that. LeBron is the best player in league history and no one can match his dominance on the basketball court. Fans would agree that he is the best to ever play the game. He’s been around for two decades, but his game is still strong. LeBron is the oldest player in the NBA, and guess what… he is also older than one NBA head coach.

LeBron and his Lakers teammates beat the Utah Jazz and it was a great 131-99 night for the purple and gold. Something else caught everyone’s attention and it’s the fact that LeBron is older than Utah head coach Will Hardy. LeBron will turn 39 in December and Hardy is 35. One of the reporters asked LeBron how it feels to be older than Hardy and his reaction says it all. One thing stands for sure. LeBron wasn’t even aware of this. He was shocked and impressed at the same time.

“Oh, wow,” the four-time NBA champion said. “My goodness. Oh my goodness. I’m not even mad. That’s a good one. You got me on that one. That’s crazy.”

LeBron is older than the Jazz head coach and other coaches

We could all agree that LeBron is older than many head coaches and assistants in the NBA today. He doesn’t even think of retiring now and he is definitely ready to play a few more seasons in the league. Playing with his two sons would be a dream come true and we wouldn’t be surprised if this happens in the near future.

Several analysts thought that LeBron would call it career after the season. However, the Lakers superstar entered the season with great dominance. He has strong chemistry with his teammates and the Lakers have a chance to make the big game this time. Let’s see what happens later this season. Let’s see what happens in the offseason.
