LeBron James Doubles Down On Explanation For Recent Lakers Struggles

The Los Angeles Lakers suffered another loss and this time it came at the hands of the Chicago Bulls. It was an ugly 124-108 loss and Lakers players struggled to score. Being limited to 108 points is not a good sign at all. The Lakers were able to win the In-Season Tournament and show their dominant side once again. Losing a game that was supposed to be a win surprised many fans. Lakers superstar LeBron James has his theory about these struggles and it makes sense.

The four-time NBA champion believes that players cannot win games for a few obvious reasons. Fatigue of all kinds, if you prefer it better.

“It’s a combination of everything,” LeBron said via Free Dawkins on YouTube after the loss. “It’s the emotional fatigue, it’s the physical fatigue, it’s the grind-of-the-season fatigue. And when you’re not winning that’s the frustration fatigue. So a little combination of everything.”

Lakers players and LeBron have to improve amid recent struggles

LeBron has already talked about this. His team needs rest and a better focus.

Our energy was up and down throughout the course of the game. We were definitely feeling it definitely,” LeBron said via Spectrum SportsNet on December 19. “It could be a little bit of everything. I mean, have you seen Indiana’s record since Vegas?”

The Pacers had a 1-4 record at the point of speaking, but managed to win a game against the Charlotte Hornets.

LeBron finished the night with 25 points, 10 rebounds, nine assists, two blocks and, one steal. His team had to try better. Former Lakers superstar Magic Johnson couldn’t agree more.

“Defense did not show up tonight in the 124-108 Lakers loss to the Chicago Bulls without Zach Levine [sic],” Johnson said in a post on X. “This is definitely a bad loss for my Lakers.”
