LeBron James Takes A Bold Shot At Lakers Front Office After Loss

The Los Angeles Lakers lost the game to the San Antonio Spurs right after beating them. LeBron James and his Lakers teammates couldn’t find a way to beat the Spurs again. It was a frustrating 129-115 loss for the Lakers and the four-time NBA champion had a clear message for the front office.

LeBron has been around for two decades and is definitely not someone who comes up with excuses that easily. However, he did have an excuse for the loss against the Spurs. Some would interpret this as a warning for the front office. LeBron clearly wants Rob Pelinka and Co. to fix the roster.

“Our team is not built to have three starters out,” the Lakers superstar said after the loss, “but you can give credit where credit is due. San Antonio played great tonight. They shot the ball extremely well.”

Both LeBron and Anthony Davis were listed as questionable for the second game against the Spurs, but AD did miss the game. The Lakers listed him as questionable due to left adductor, hip spasm. D’Angelo Russell was also out due to a migraine and Cam Reddish deals with knee soreness.

LeBron and his Lakers teammates have to avoid another loss

LeBron finished the night with 23 points with a minus-28 net rating. The Spurs outscored his team by 28 per 100 possessions during LeBron’s time on the court. Austin Reaves Delivered 22 points in the night and Taurean Prince did 12.

The Lakers have a 15-11 record at this point, securing their eighth seed in the Western Conference. The front office really needs to make some changes because the Lakers struggle against playoff contenders.

Trade speculations are louder than ever. Several Lakers players are officially eligible for a trade, including Russell, Gabe Vincent, Prince, Christian Wood, Reddish, and Jaxson Hayes. Numerous experts predict that Russell could end up on the trade block sooner than expected.

The Lakers have been linked to several players, including Zach LaVine from the Chicago Bulls. He spends his offseason in Los Angeles and is represented by Klutch Sports. If LaVine joins the Lakers, he will be the third player behind LeBron and AD.
