Patriots Legend Thinks Cowboys Are Hiring HC Bill Belichick

The New England Patriots will be without head coach Bill Belichick from now on and it seems like the Dallas Cowboys could be his next destination. The Green Bay Packers destroyed the Cowboys and Dallas may be looking for a new head coach now. Is Belichick the best person to replace McCarthy?

Former Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman is definitely a fan of this idea. He worked with Belichick for over a decade and knows the former Patriots head coach really well. Edelman can already see Belichick join the Cowboys. He needs a new job, remember? Pretty much every NFL team would love to have Belichick as head coach and Dallas could grab the opportunity before anyone else does.

Belichick to the Cowboys?

The Cowboys are on to making major changes in the offseason. If they decide to hire a new head coach, they have a good option on the market. It’s safe to say everyone will be watching the Cowboys now.

Belichick parted ways with the Patriots after two decades. He led the team to nine Super Bowl appearances and helped players win six titles. Belichick is the best to ever coach a NFL game. He needs to win some more games in order to pass Don Shula for most wins in NFL history. If Belichick signs with a new team, he can definitely do that. He will have an opportunity to accomplish this in a new scenery. Will Dallas be the best destination for him? This is just a speculation and of course, Belichick will sure make the best move for his NFL career.

The GOAT among all coaches is free to make the best decision and we can only speculate about his next deal. Is it Dallas? Is he going somewhere else? One thing stands for sure. Belichick will not be coaching the Patriots in the 2024 NFL season.
