LeBron James Compares Anthony Davis To Warriors Steph Curry Amid Latest Injury

The Los Angeles Lakers lost Anthony Davis after the first quarter of the game against the Golden State Warriors. It was a loss for the team and Davis’ absence was felt. LeBron James is well aware of the fact that the Lakers can’t do some things without Davis and even compared him to Steph Curry.

The Warriors play differently with Curry on the floor. Losing him to an injury changes their dynamic. Simple as that.

“Golden State, you tip your hat to them. They played exceptionally well,” James said. “Obviously, having Steph [Curry] back changed their dynamic. You can see the difference between when Steph was on the floor and the last couple games when he didn’t play. So it’s just tough when you have a big component, piece to the puzzle, and then you don’t have it.”

Curry leads the Warriors just like LeBron and Davis

Davis was elbowed in the eye, but continued playing. His condition got worse over a few possessions and he had to leave the game. Head coach Darvin Ham and players came well prepared to win the game. They had a strong start, but the whole energy changed after Davis suffered an injury.

LeBron and Davis try their best to lead the Lakers to a win and they did a really good job so far in the season. Let’s hope this injury doesn’t affect the end of their season. They lost the game to the Warriors, but the season is not over yet.

“When you’ve been preparing for a couple days with our prep, and you lose a key component to your team in one quarter it – we try to pick it up,” LeBron told the media on March 16. “But, obviously, some things that we can’t do without without AD.

“That’s having another threat always on the floor, both offensively and defensively versus a team [the Warriors] that has multiple threats. So, obviously, when you lose AD it just hurts the balance of our team. We’ve been pretty good, our coaches have been pretty good at having a certain rotation, how we work in our rotation. So now that changes a lot of things.”
