Watch: LeBron James Talks About His First Practice With Lakers

LeBron James had his first practice with the Los Angeles Lakers. The regular season is about to start, and we’re more than excited to see him play ball.

“I’m not a very patient guy, but I understand that I have to be patient right now. I’ve got to be patient with myself, too, because it’s a new start for me. It’s my first year here, my first year in a new system. I know how to play the game of basketball but this is all new to me, too… I guess I’ve got to bring in the approach I get from home. When you have three kids you have to be patient,” LeBron said of his first practice.

The king of basketball is ready for his first challenge. LeBron joined the Lakers for a reason, and he’s ready to accomplish his goals – bring the Lakers to the NBA Finals.

“This franchise has been a historical franchise in this league for years… so that’s an excitement in it’s own right. And then it’s just always humbling for me anytime I get an opportunity to be a part of something special, and I believe the conversation that I had with Magic that night [the night he decided to sign with the Lakers] was a special night, so I’m happy to be at this point today,” LeBron said on Lakers’ media day on Monday.

So, King James is officially a Laker now. He’s ready to don his Lakers uniform, and he has already made a decision on the shows he will be wearing on the opening night. The Nike LeBron 16 ‘King.’

The Lakers hope for a better season. They didn’t have much success in the past few seasons, and LeBron’s addition will sure change that. That’s what Jeanie Buss and Magic Johnson hope for.
